About me
I am a doctoral student working on ice sheet modelling. My goal is to improve the model performance in fast-changing regions in the Antarctic Peninsula and the Amundsen Sea Embayment, focusing on historical and present-day simulations to calibrate the model against observed events of ice shelf collapses, grounding line migration and ice stream acceleration. This work is part of the project iQ2300 (East Antarctic sea level rise contribution in 2300).
I am supervised by Prof. Arjen Stroeven (main supervisor, Stockholm University) and Prof. Jon Harbor (Purdue University Global) on the field of data collection and interpretation. The model development is guided by Prof. Irina Rogozhina (Centro de Estudios Avanzados en Zonas Áridas), and Dr. Jorge Bernales (Danish Meteorological Institute) as part of WP12 of iQ2300 (Observational era analogues for future change in East Antarctica).
