Richard GyllencreutzAssistant professor of Marine geophysics
About me
I am mainly working with high-resolution sea floor mapping and sampling of sediments. My research interests are broad, including Scandincavian ice sheet reconstructions, marine geology in the Ikka Fjord (Greenland), Arctic sediment geochemistry, Holocene palaeoceanography and climate development, and applied bedrock geophysics.
I do fieldwork in Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea as well as the Arctic, Antarctic, and other regions. My teaching includes all levels from ground courses to PhD-courses, and I supervise bachelor, master and PhD students.
