About me

I am a Professor at the IIES as of 1 July 2018. I obtained my PhD from Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in 2008, and was promoted full professor at the same institution in 2017. My research interests mainly concern income inequality.

Kizazi Kijacho: Research for the next generation

While important progress has been made in reducing under-five mortality in recent years, poor developmental outcomes for children under 5 can last a lifetime and perpetuate an intergenerational cycle of poverty and marginalization.
