About me

I have a background in philosophy, literature, gender studies and intercultural pedagogy. This mishmash of different academic styles has influenced my research interest, and it has sort of pushed me towards the research project that I now aim to dig into.

In this planned Ph.D. project I want to investigate the potential to create a posthuman pedagogy by deploying the theoretical scheme of Karen Barad, Donna Haraway and Katherine Hayles when it comes to the making of knowledge and how we can find it through potential converging lines. The project seeks to explore how a posthumanistic approach might contribute to an understanding of knowledge and learning that does not make a halt at including “matter” or technological devices. Instead, the project aims to overcome such constructed deadlocks and pitfalls through the employment of a critical posthumanism that puts focus upon the act of knowledge production. I am also interested in taking a closer look at the transdisciplinarity of science. That is, how can the object of knowledge stemming from the field of philosophy of education connect with, for instance, the object of knowledge within the field of neuropedagogy?

Other than writing I enjoy cats, sci-fi and dancing.
