The Department of Sociology is home to the Stockholm University Demography Unit (SUDA), an international group of scholars and doctoral students, working on many facets of population dynamics. It offers a Master’s program in Demography and a PhD program in Sociological Demography.

About me

Isaac Sasson is Associate Professor of Sociology and faculty member at the Herczeg Institute on Aging at Tel Aviv University.

Research

Prior to joining Tel Aviv University, Isaac received his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin and was a postdoctoral fellow at the London School of Economics. His research focuses on inequality in human life spans and the social determinants of health.
