About me
I am a PhD student in Karl Gotthard's lab studying seasonal adaptations in insects, speficially in different butterfly species. My project focuses on life history traits involved in life cycle regulation and their dependency on different environmental cues such as temperature and photoperiod. Through exploring both genetic and phenotypic footprints of selection across space and time, I aim to better understand the evolutionary mechanisms as well as the ecological implications of seasonal plascticity in a changing world.
