About me
Postdoc, Department of Environmental Science
I obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biology of Organisms and Populations from the University of Western Brittany, followed by a Master’s degree in Marine and Coastal Sciences at the European University Institute of the Sea, specializing in biodiversity, ecotoxicology and environmental stress in coastal ecosystems.
I achieved my doctoral studies in 2023 at LEMAR (France) with a focus on Stress ecology and ecological quality of the Seine estuary and Brittany coastal rivers through environmental and molecular signatures in a sentinel species, the Flounder (P. flesus).
My doctoral work allowed the identification of relevant bioindicators to assess the ecological health status of estuaries using a multidisciplinary approach combining catchment geography, river hydrobiology, pollutant chemistry, and biomarkers and molecular tools in flounder subjected to multiple stressors.
In October 2024, I joined ACES at Stockholm University as a postdoc within the European project DESTRESS (DEciphering temporal trends and safe operating spaces for river biodiversity within the context of multiple STRESSors).
This project will exploit existing, unique, and comprehensive time series of European stream and river biodiversity monitoring data to synthesise current knowledge on biodiversity trends and their relationships with contaminant exposures and changing hydrological regimes and how these relationships are influenced by multiple stressors.
