About me
I have worked as an elementary school teacher for eight years in the city of Stockholm and often with a focus on mathematics. In the autumn of 2017, I began my doctoral studies at Ämnesdidaktiska forskarskolan (ÄDFo). After a hiatus, I have since the autumn of 2021 resumed my doctoral studies to complete them in the spring of 2022.
Research
My research interest includes the role of metaphors in mathematics teaching and learning and what function different perspectives on metaphors have for concept formation in mathematics, to the individual but also from a larger ontological perspective. One paper has been published that focuses on two different perspectives on metaphors and how these concepts have been interpreted in didactic classroom research over the past 40 years.
