I have joined the department as a doctoral student in 2019. I hold a MA in Anthropology from Heidelberg University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Toronto (St George).
I am interested in the dynamics of migration and social and environmental change in Southeast Asia with a particular focus on Indonesia.
In the past year, I held positions as Visiting Fellow (January – June) and Research Associate (July – December) in the Department for the Anthropology of Economic Experimentation at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology.
I am also currently coordinator of the CEIFO center for research on global migration.
