I study differential equations and their spectral properties. This may, for instance, be elliptic differential operators on Euclidean domains, differential operators on metric graphs (so-called quantum graphs) or Schrödinger operators with singular interactions.
The aim of this project is to establish inequalities between eigenvalues in different physical constellations, focusing on eigenvalues of Laplace and Schrödinger differential equations.
