Jan Rosén's major fields for research within the frames of intellectual Property are Copyright and Trademark Law and, in the wider scope of Media law, closely related to IP Law, issues concerning control of media content, freedom of information and expression, protection of personal integrity and norms on the flow of information. Connected is a focus on informational technology and various modern market phenomena, such as those concerning networks and digitization and the law of obligations and licensing of property rights. Contemporary law on broadcasting, webcasting and simulcasting, as well as regulations of concession to media enterprises form other natural fields of interest.
