Kumar Bhaskar Pal

About me

Presently I hold the position of a Wenner-Gren postdoctoral researcher at Stockholm University, Sweden working in the area of C-H activations and photoredox catalysis. Prior to my current role, I completed my Ph.D. in the domain of total synthesis of biologically relevant oligosaccharides and supramolecular chemistry from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Kolkata, India. Afterward, I did a couple of Postdocs at Lund University Sweden (performed method development, denovo drug design, studied protein-ligand interaction on Galectin chemistry and biology) and Nanyang Technological University (novel methodology development, scientific review writing). Cumulatively I have acquired 10+ years of research experience across academia in different aspects of organic and medicinal chemistry.
