About me

I am a PhD student in ore geology at the Department of Geological Sciences (IGV). My research focuses on the Rare Earth Element (REE) mineralisations that occur in the Bergslagen ore province in south-central Sweden. The REE are on the EU's list of critical raw materials due to their key role in sustainable and renewable energy technologies combined with a high risk of supply.

I study the REE mineralisations in detail to obtain a better understanding of their extent, distribution and formation. This knowledge is important for future exploration and potential extraction of REE resources in Sweden, or elsewhere on Earth.
