About me

I have recently been admitted to the Sustainable Synergies Programme as a doctoral candidate. My background is in sociology, with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hamburg and a Master of Social Sciences from Syddansk Universitet in Odense, where I focused on comparative public policy and welfare studies. In the programme, I will be concentrating on aspects of education policies in sustainable working lives. This aligns with my ongoing research interests: My Master's thesis explored the issue of access to higher education for refugees in Germany and Sweden.

Before joining SOFI, I worked as a consultant at Rambøll Management Consulting in Hamburg, Germany. In the 'Sustainable Society Transformation' (SST) unit, my research interests were centred on social and education policy, as well as on issues concerning children, youth, and families.

Prior to my role as a consultant, I was involved in the conceptualisation, implementation, and analysis of the Youth Survey Luxembourg (YSL) at the University of Luxembourg. My analysis of the YSL data contributed to the Youth Report Luxembourg 2020, which examined the impact of the pandemic on the younger generation in Luxembourg.

I was also involved in acquiring Erasmus+ funding and subsequently implementing a strategic partnership programme between KTH Stockholm, TU Berlin, and UP Madrid in 2019/20.
