About me
My research focuses on atmospheric aerosol particles and their interactions with clouds. I am particularly interested in:
- How air pollution mitigation influences the properties of clouds as well as the chemistry taking place in clouds.
- The response of the biosphere to the changing environmental conditions and its effects on the aerosol–cloud–climate system.
I conduct both field and laboratory research, primarily using online mass spectrometry to obtain real-time data on aerosol chemical composition and their precursors. These experiments are typically complemented by our unit's other instrumentation for measuring the physical properties of aerosols and clouds. Importantly, I enjoy incorporating the observational findings into modeling applications to better understand cloud responses to the observed variability in aerosols.
