About me

My research seeks to understand past ice sheet and glacier dynamics in order to better constrain future change. The record of features preserved on the seafloor of high-latitude continental shelves enable study of past glacial activity by incorporating sedimentology and geophysical mapping.

Previously, I studied post-Last Glacial Maximum ice sheet retreat history in the Ross Sea of Antarctica using reflection seismic, sediment cores and multibeam bathymetry data. As part of this work, I participated in two expeditions to the central Ross Sea of Antarctica in 2023 and 2024 to investigate Ross Bank as a paleo-pinning point of the Ross Ice Shelf.
