About me
My research centres itself around osteoarchaeological analysis and interpretations of cremation graves on the islands in the Baltic sea during the late iron age, within these analysis I focus on how birds were used and conceptualized during the burial process and if eventual regional differences can be observed. My research aims to be cross-disciplinary with a combination of osteoarchaeology and religious studies. This has among other aspects manifested itself through the attempt to apply the concept of "lived religion" on the context on cosmological beliefs and its application in everyday life during late iron age Scandinavia.
