About me

Mattias Folkestad received both his BSc in Economics and his MSc in Economics from Stockholm University. During his master studies he took a gap year to work as a political advisor at the Swedish Parliament where he worked with economic policy. His primary research interests are economy of education, human capital and political economy. He wrote his master thesis in colaboration with the Swedish Ministry of Education on the long term effect of pre-school education on human capital formation.
