Maria Stosz

About me

I received my Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow where I was working with organic dyes. After that, I changed my scope of interest to ceramic materials and I did a Master’s degree in Material Science at AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow. Currently, I am an industrial PhD student in Prof. Mats Johnsson’s group working at Empa in Switzerland.

I am scientifically interested in ceramic materials and methods of their characterization. At MMK, I will focus on the chemical joining of ceramics as well as on non-conventional sintering methods under the guidance of Prof. Mats Johnsson.
