About me
I am a researcher at the Swedish Institute for Social Research (SOFI) at Stockholm University, Sweden.
At SOFI, I conduct research within the GENPARENT project, which is funded by the European Research Council (ERC). This project studies care- and work-related concequences of parenthood of same-sex couples and different-sex couples in Finland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
In 2022, I received funding for the project "Why do gender inequalities in work and care persist? Parents' division of labor across contemporary families" from Riksbankens Jubileumfonds (together with Ylva Moberg) to research the concequences of parenthood for other contemporary families in the Nordic countries.
I defended my dissertation my thesis called "Gendered Choices: Fields of Study of Adolescents in the Netherlands" in January 2018 at the department of Sociology at Utrecht University. Since then, I worked as an assistant professor at the deparment of Sociology at the Radboud University in Nijmegen. My research interests are gender inequality, same-sex families, division of labor and work-family lives.
