About me

I am a PhD-student in Sociological Demography at the Stockholm University Demography Unit. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology at Lund University in 2020, and my MSc in Demography here at Stockholm University 2023. My research focuses on the effects of labour market and employment uncertainty on fertility behaviour and intentions. I am especially interested in comparing the effects across migrants, children of immigrants and the native Swedish population. My research also includes a gender aspect – I am interested in studying how employment uncertainty and unemployment affect the childbearing and family planning of men and women differently depending on their background.
