About me
Together with our marine researchers I work to increase knowledge and engagement in marine environmental issues among the general public, schools, policy makers, and different stakeholders.
I have a BSc in Biology and Earth sciences and journalist training from Stockholm University. I have worked with Sweden's leading editorial teams in science journalism, at the public service Swedish Radio and Swedish Television, the magazines Forskning & Framsteg and Sveriges Natur, and also at the news agency Tidningarnas Telegrambyrå and the research council Formas. Since 2016 I have worked as a science communicator, first at the Swedish Museum for Natural History, then within Sida's international research cooperation and since June 2022 at Stockholm University Baltic Sea Centre.
Here I report on marine research at Stockholm University, our field laboratory at Askö and onboard our research vessel Electra, arrange educational events in collaboration with the Baltic Sea Science Center at Skansen, and develop our new teaching material on sea and sustainable development for secondary school teachers: Lektionsbanken om Östersjön (in Swedish).
