Teaching
I currently teach: International Security Politics (MA level); Analytical Perspectives on Politics (MA level); European Politics (MA level). I have taught the MA course in International Relations at the Dept. of Government, Uppsala University as well as International Politics and European Politics at the BA level at the Dept. of Political Science, Stockholm University. I have held guest lectures and seminars on European politics and EU foreign and security policy at Edinburgh University, University of Exeter, University of Antwerpen, Université de Montréal, Queen’s University, Swedish National Defence University, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, University of Liverpool and Södertörn University College.
Research
My research interests include theories of International Relations and European integration (especially constructivist theories and methodologies), practice approaches, security communities and communities of practice, EU foreign and security policy, international cooperation on climate-related security risks, Euro-Mediterranean relations (especially EU-North Africa) and Spanish politics (especially Catalan independence). I currently research international cooperation on climate security (see “research projects” below).
