Göran Östlin

About me

I am a professor in astronomy at Stockholm University since 2008 and member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences since 2010. I got my PhD from Uppsala University in 1998. My research interests are galaxies, their physics, formation and evolution. I am also involved in instrumentation projects: MIRI for the James Webb Space Telescope, ANDES and MOSAIC for ESO's Extremely Large Telescope.
