About me

Postdoctoral Researcher – Jiayin Yuan’s group

Özlem Uguz Neli was born in Istanbul, Turkey. She obtained her PhD and BSc degrees from Marmara University and MSc degree from Istanbul Technical University. Her main research focuses on tailoring semiconductor materials for photoelectrochemical and photocatalytic conversion processes.

At MMK her role is developing surface functionalized quaternary oxynitride nanowire photoelectrodes and investigating their performance for efficient solar energy conversion.
