About me

I am working on “Radiation risk appraisal for detrimental effects from medical exposure during management of patients with lymphoma or brain tumor” European Commission funded ( https://www.sinfonia-appraisal.eu/ ) SINFONIA project with Prof. Andrzej Wojcik group at the center for radiation protection research (CRPR) , Department of Molecular Biosciences, Stockholm University, Stockholm, Sweden.

Previously, I had worked on radiation induced DNA damage & it’s repair mechanisms” in invitro cellular models with the research group of Prof. George Iliakis at Institute of Medical Radiation Biology, University of Duisburg-Essen, Essen, Germany. In this project my learning and investigation were focused on deciphering the choice between pathways (cNHEJ, HRR, alt-EJ & SAA) selection that a cell choose upon induction of a DNA Double Strand Break (DSB) by Ionising Radiation.
