About me

I started my doctoral studies in the fall term of 2022. I am mainly interested in predictive language processing and how the properties of one's mother tongue impact processing in a second language. I have, for example, investigated whether and to what extent first and second language speakers of Swedish can use morphological gender cues to anticipate nouns they have not actually encountered yet. In my current project, I am examining the extent to which lexical predictions are accompanied by predictions of actual word forms in Swedish. I use both behavioral and brain imaging methods in my research.
