About me
Hello, Riccardo here, writing to you from the AlbaNova Research Center in Stockholm. It just so happens that I am here doing my PhD in the group of Quantum Photonics under the supervision of Ana Predojevic.
Human contact is always appreciated so feel free to contact me (try with email first or try your luck knocking directly on my door) for any questions or suggestions. If you don't see me in my office I am almost surely in the lab (C:3026).
Research
I came to this research group to further my interest on photonic quantum technologies. At the moment I am working on various projects involving quantum light. Spacing from quantum dots to SPDC, from polarization entanglement to time-bin enanglement we pioneer and perfect ways of exploiting the quantum properties of photons.
A true "all-rounder" approach that starts all the way from designing and machining custom parts to assemble state of the art experiments and ends with advanced data analysis and modeling techniques, following every step of the experimental process. All the while keeping in close contact with your friendly neighbourhood theoritician, working together to understand and model these deceptively "simple" processes.
