Saira Aftab

About me

 I did my bachelor's from the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics and did my BS dissertation on Microbial genetics. Then I did my Masters and PhD from the School of Biological Sciences, University of Punjab, Pakistan with my main focus on EMT in cancer and expression of related genes. I worked at the Harvard-MIT Institute of Health Science and Technology on organ-on-chip platforms and 3D bioprinting techniques. I served at the University of Lahore, Pakistan (Full-time), Pakistan (Visiting) lecturer for a period of two years. Now I have joined Prof. Einar Hallberg's lab at Stockholm University as a Postdoctoral Fellow and working on Chromatin Organization in neurodegenerative disorders and Cancer.
