I did my bachelor from the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics and did my BS dissertation on Microbial genetics. Then I did my PhD from the School of Biological Sciences, University of Punjab, Pakistan with my main focus on EMT in cancer and expression of related genes. I worked at Harvard-MIT institute of health science and technology on organ-on-chip platforms and 3D bioprinting techniques. I served at the University of Lahore, Pakistan (Full time) and Minhaj University Lahore, Pakistan (Visiting) lecturer for a period of two years. Now I have joined Prof. Einar Hallberg's lab at Stockholm University as a Postdoctoral Fellow and working on Chromatin Organization in neurodegenerative disorders and ageing.
