About me

I have been an adjunct at Stockholm University since 2017. I previously taught and researched Arabic at Baghdad University and Uppsala University. I received my doctorate in 1995 in pre-Islamic poetry (pre-Islamic poetry between the individual and the collective). I previously taught early and modern Arabic literature and my research and publications included poetry, literary history and Arabic dialects. Now I teach modern standard Arabic, language skills and dialects.
