About me
I hold a PhD in Chemical ingeneering (2019) from KU-Leuven, Belgium. I studied thermodynamics of interactions on nanocellulose surfaces.
After my PhD I carried out postdoctoral research at INRAE (Nantes, France) where I worked on polysaccharide microcapsules. I carried out a second postdoctoral research at KU-Leuven, where I studied metal nanocatalysts supported on nanocellulose and nanochitin surfaces.
My main interest is to design nano-based natural materials for a more sustainable sociey, with particular focus on polysaccharides and protein.
Here at SU I work with nanocellulose based membrane for water-purification.
