About me
Shefali Roy is a PhD candidate at the Department of Economic History and International Relations at Stockholm University. Shefali is a member of the FORMAS project, `How public-private sector interactions can promote democratic and effective climate adaptation: Lessons for Sweden´. Shefali's research focuses on global governance and environmental politics, especially on public-private interactions and compliance along the global supply chain in the sectors of agriculture, mining and transport.
Shefali worked as a research assistant in the Jacques Delors Centre on the PerzepEU project for two years. She has four years of experience as a Monitoring and Evaluation researcher of development projects in agriculture, maternal and child health, water governance and SMEs in the Global South.
Shefali completed her Masters in Public Policy from Hertie School in Berlin, specialising in sustainability and climate policy analysis (2023). She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (2017) and a Bachelor in Engineering in Biotechnology (2014) from India.
