About me

Assistant Professor in Swedish as a Second Language at the Department of Teaching and Learning. I defended my doctoral dissertation in the spring of 2025 in the field of Multilingualism, at the University of Gothenburg. My doctoral research concerned the state led eduational initiative Civic Orientation for Newly Arrived Adult Migrants. My research is broadly grounded in a critical discourse analytical perspective, and concerns for example Language and Power, Critical Applied Linguistics, Migration and Integration research, and Gender Studies.
