About me

Sandor Adam Gorni is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Political Science at Stockholm University. He is part of the research project “Shaping the Online Public Sphere: How and Why Do Democracies Regulate Social Media Platforms?”, led by Ludvig Norman.

His research focuses on political participation, specifically examining how different social groups use social media to engage in politics. He looks into how these groups interpret and navigate the evolving social media landscape, and how changes in social media platforms influence their political participation and mobilization.

Before starting his PhD, Sandor Adam Gorni worked as a research intern at International IDEA, where he contributed to the Global State of Democracy Indices. Additionally, he spent three months at the V-Dem Institute, where he processed and coded data related to democracy and elections for the V-Dem Dataset.
