Spyridon Sipetas

About me

Spyridon (Spyros) Sipetas is a PhD candidate in Private Law (Civilrätt) specialising in Intellectual Property Law (Immaterialrätt). His research focuses on the role of Intellectual Property (IP) rights in the fashion industry, in light of sustainability. Prior to pursuing his PhD degree, Spyros completed his undergraduate legal studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (2016-2020) as well as Master (LLM) studies in Industrial Property & Competition Law (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, 2021-2022), and in European Intellectual Property law (Stockholm University, 2023-2024). Spyros is also a Greek-qualified lawyer (Athens Bar, 2022) with prior professional experience working both in law firms and the Hellenic Competition Commission.
