About me

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, focusing on Applied Mathematics in Mechanics, from the University of Science, Vietnam, in 2016. I then obtained a Master of Engineering in Architectural Engineering from Sejong University, South Korea, in 2019, followed by a Ph.D. in Computational Science from Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam, in 2023. After completing my Ph.D., I was employed as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Computer Science at Aarhus University, Denmark, from May 2023 to August 2025.

Previously, I worked on various projects that focused on developing and applying high-performance smart numerical approaches by combining Mathematical Modeling, Numerical Simulation, Optimization, Machine Learning/Deep Learning, and High-Performance Computing across multiple fields, including mechanical engineering, manufacturing, physics, and e-commerce.

Currently, I am working on an interdisciplinary project that applies machine learning to identify and classify glacial landforms on the seabed using marine geophysical mapping data. In this project, robust and scalable AI methods are being developed to automatically detect and classify submarine glacial landforms from high-resolution bathymetric data. The goal is to improve our understanding of how glaciers move and melt, thereby contributing to more reliable predictions of future changes in glacier systems that interact with the ocean under a warming climate.
