About me
Since January 2021 I am employed as lecturer in translation science with a focus
on translation at TÖI, Stockholm.
In 2007, I defended my dissertation, at the University of Växjö now Linnaeus
University, with the dissertation Traduire l´oral en une ou deux lignes : Étude traductologique du sous-titrage français de films suédois contemporains where I
examined which linguistic strategies are used in film translation (subtitling) to
simulate the ”illusion” of a spontaneous spoken language in a film dialogue.

During the period from 2004 to 2009 I worked as a lecturer in French at the
University of Växjö. From 2011 to 2013 at the college for communication and
learning in Jönköping and at the University of Gothenburg between 2015 and 2017
for Erasmus students and and on the teacher program
My work also includes freelance translation from French to Swedish, with a focus
on fiction and drama, but also news articles when given the opportunity.
I am also responsible for the French section for deeper studies in the French
language at Schillerska gymnasium in Gothenburg, which has also been my
hometown for the past thirty years.
