Viktoria Bednarski

About me

Viktoria received her Master’s degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Cologne, Germany. Her thesis focused on the “Consequences of reproductive mode on repeat dynamics” in oribatid mites, and she did her thesis work in the group of Dr. Jens Bast . Viktoria started her PhD studies in September, 2024, and is still interested in mating system shifts – but now in plants. She is working on the convergent evolution and loss of distyly in Linum.
