About me

Dr. Atiah is a Ghanaian female researcher currently serving as a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Meteorology at Stockholm University (MISU), where she is working under the guidance of Prof. Thorsten Mauritsen. She is engaged in a two-year postdoctoral position, focusing on the Tropical Precipitation Tipping-Points (TPTP) project. This project seeks to deepen our understanding of the atmospheric components involved in climate feedback loops. Specifically, it investigates soil-moisture-precipitation feedback mechanisms, convective cloud dynamics within large-scale climate variability, and the roles of the Hadley and Walker circulations within the context of global energetic constraints.
