About me

I am a PhD student in Medieval History at the Department of History at Stockholm University.

I am also secretary at the Centre for Medieval Studies at the university.

Teaching

I have previously been teaching in the Erasmus BIP-course he contribution of military orders in peripheral territories to boosting european globalization (12th-16th centuries) and is also supervising bachelor students in their thesis work.

Research

My thesis research focuses on medieval monastic seals from Scandinavia, how they acted as mediators of identity and how, through them, both individual and monastic identity formation can be understood. I am also active in a few smaller project focusing on the history of the Scandinavian Hosptiallers. This currently includes a chapter in the uppcomming volume Hospitallers and Others as well as a small project about the developments in the order during the 15th century financed by The foundation for sigilliographic historical research.
