About me

Yimei Zou is an Assistant Professor at the IIES since September 2018. Yimei's research interests lie broadly in the fields of international economics and macroeconomics. Her current projects focuses on the formation of production networks, namely the collection of input-output linkages among producers. She wants to understand, both theoretically and empirically, the trade-offs that firms face when forming intermediate input linkages with each other as well as the implications of endogenous production networks for welfare gains from trade and economic growth.
