About me
I have broad interest in speciation, the mating system and genome evolution in plant species, and how these three elements influence/interact with each other.
I did my Ph.D. at the University of Lille, France (E.E.P. laboratory) under the supervision of Professor Pascal Touzet. During my Ph.D., I worked on plant organellar genomes and their potential implication in the speciation and evolution of plant mating systems, in particular with respect to the gynodioic reproductive system. My thesis was entitled "Speciation and organellar genome evolution in lineages of Silene nutans" and was defended in December 2022.
Since March 2023, I am working as a postdoctoral fellow at the D.E.E.P. with Prof. Tanja Slotte on plant mating system using omics data, in particular studying its genetic basis and associated genomic signatures in Linum species.
