Nodegoat workshop: Introduction to historical data analysis and visualisation

Nodegoat is a tool for humanities data management and analysis. Developed by historians, for historians, it excels at managing historical data and analysing change over time. The tool can also visualize networks and spatial data. At this workshop, the creators of Nodegoat demonstrate how you can use the tool for your own project. It covers basic principles of data modelling, database design, and network analysis as well as challenges/opportunities related to the usage of 'data' in the realm of the humanities.
Coffee and lunch is included.
Venue: Bergsmannen, Stockholm University, on site participation only, registration is required. Registration deadline: 27 September.
The workshop is organised by the Department of History and the Digital History seminar. The seminar gathers researchers and students with an interest in the digitization of the historical discipline.
