Research group Harmful use in working life – prevention and intervention

Harmful use of, for example, alcohol, drugs or gambling for money in working life can lead to negative consequences for both the individual and the employer. At the same time, the workplace is an important arena for reaching out with both preventive and supportive measures.

Kristina Sundqvist's research group is primarily focused on harmful use in working life. How workplaces can work to prevent employees from developing problems with alcohol, drugs and gambling is a central question. Likewise, what workplaces and managers can do to support and help employees who have developed a problem.

The group also researches problematic gambling for money/gambling addiction more generally.
