Research project Research at the intersection feminism/biology – an international science study

The project investigates research at the intersection feminism/biology through interviews with researchers in different disciplines and at different places around the world.

The project aims to investigate the researchers’ epistemological points of departure and understandings of what sex/gender is, as well as their experiences of operating at this intersection.

The project investigates how the researchers in their research practice relate to the distinctions social/biological, nature/culture and sex/gender, the researchers experiences of challenging consensus in their respective fields, as well as their relationship to the heterogenous field of women’s/gender studies.

By studying research at the much-debated intersection of feminism/biology, the project contributes to the international forefront of feminist science studies.
