Research project Society and the school road
The place of children in the Swedish road landscape during the last period of the Swedish Folkskola 1930-1972 and society's discussions about it.
The project is a continuation of “The historical geography of the school route - children's entry into the road landscape after the introduction of the Swedish Folkskola 1840-1930”. We are now aiming to deepen the historical understanding of school route issues during the relatively unexplored period 1930-1972, which marks the end of the Swedish Folkskola era.
