Research project The queer temporalities of age play
My dissertation in gender studies (2022, forthcoming) focuses on how temporality is experienced and negotiated in age play.

Age play is an umbrella term for sexual and non-sexual practices, often linked to BDSM, which use performative age positions as a central component, in a sexual role play or as an integrated part of everyday identity. Working within the theoretical field of queer temporality studies, I explore how age play can challenge normative conceptions of temporal progression.
