Research project Unaccompanied asylum seeking children and youths

The project uses life stories as a method. Empirically, it is based on in-depth interviews with 15 unaccompanied children and young people originating in Afghanistan.

The theoretical frame of reference consists of migration ecology, which means that the young people's stories and life history are contextualized in relation to life in the home country, the experiences from the flight and the reception in Sweden.

The project is part of the research area Children and young people in vulnerable life situations.
