Research subject Public Economics
Research within the field of public economics at Stockholm University covers theoretical and empirical work on core issues such as taxation and the design of social insurance.
Several current projects leverage Swedish microdata in combination with exogenous variations induced by recent reforms, to estimate policy-relevant parameters. Together with theoretical models, these estimates contribute to the academic frontier and inform the policy debate.
