Research subject Spanish philology

The study of Spanish philology is conducted at Stockholm University in close collaboration with literary research on early Castilian literature.

Our focus is on questions of translation and dissemination of religious texts (Christian, Muslim, Jewish) during the Middle Ages as well as questions of authorship, reception and textual criticism of medieval Spanish poetry.
